Scope & Guide to Fees
I have separated the service into logical modules and I will charge you a fee in advance in the same way as one pays for training.
Please note that, for those selected for a free trial, the free trial does not apply to Module 2 but to Modules 3 to 5 only. The free trial helps us gather meaningful testimonials.
Module 1: – Initial 2way discussion. No charge:
The first telephone call aimed at introducing yourself, your getting answers from me about what’s potentially on offer and my finding out about you, your background, current role/ situation etc. and, of course, your expectations.
We decide if there is to be a “next step”.
Module 2 £40 or equivalent in Euro, $US, $Aust. etc.
To help you edit & polish your CV.
A telephone consultation for me to go through your career and CV with you and suggest alterations/deletions/additions, as necessary, to ensure it is an effective document that attracts interviews from prospective employers.
Module 3 £125 ( includes Module 2 )
A telephone consultation for me to go through your CV with you, compare its contents with your career & employment history, specifically responsibilities, accountabilities and achievements look at ways of improving its content. Advise on alterations/deletions/additions, as necessary, to ensure it is an effective document with its maximum possible impact on hiring managers.
We will discuss your experience in some depth so that I can identify elements for inclusion in your CV which a potential recruiter will look for specifically.
The aim of this module is to have you better understand what skills and experience you have that are of value to different industries/markets and focus you on the right “targets” for your job search efforts.
Many professionals make the mistake of taking a “scattergun” approach to job applications. This invites unnecessary disappointments where experience is incompatible with the role applied for; in turn this erodes your confidence and has a negative impact.
It’s my experience that most CVs are too “wordy” and contain many subjective statements about personal qualities, gifts and talents.
Much of the CV layout and content recommended by many “Advisers” give CVs a “cloned look” and lack credibility. All such ballast will be avoided so as to provide you with an objective, credible marketing tool.

The following two modules involve the use of virtual meetings using Skype.
Module 4: £250
The aim of this module is to arrive at that point where we have identified what other industries your experience is most compatible with to enable you to accurately focus your job hunting efforts and to prepare you for your first applications using your updated, focussed CV.
We will discuss tactics for your first encounter with a recruiter which may well be an Employment Agency Consultant. I will discuss with you how to approach them and how to orchestrate their efforts on your behalf so that they are more focussed around your interests.
Of course your first encounter with a recruiter may well be with the company itself, with HR or a senior executive.
In any event, we will be looking at the possible but unfounded objections in the minds of recruiters and how to “anticipate” and overcome them.
What you should expect to get from this module:
- Confidence that you will have a positive influence on hiring managers.
- Conviction about the value of your “offering” to the agency or the recruiting companies in the industries we identified earlier.
- An understanding of which of your skills and what aspects of your experience are marketable to different industries as well as examples of what those different industries may be.
- Finally we will have you complete a Personality Profile Analysis and provide you with a copy.
Module 5: £250
The aim of this module is to get you through the process, an interview at a time aimed at “securing the role”
We will be focussing on you and the impression you make on the interviewers in terms of the quality of your pre-meeting preparation, presentation, probing questions, emotional intelligence and…. the all important, culture check ( could I work with these people?).
What you should expect to gain from this module:
- Feedback and constructive critique of your interview performance at each stage.
- From our “post-interview” discussion, I will gain impressions to share with you of your success or otherwise at various stages through the interview, from the questions you were asked, statements that were made, all of which provide indications.
- Focus on “what needs to be achieved” next interview.
- Clarity on how to determine if the culture of the company will suit your style/personality.
